Coming from a long line of shoe retailers Tracey Mathers found the shoe business a natural choice.

Tracey is the granddaughter and the third generation of the founder of the famous Mathers Shoes Footwear Company. Tracey's father Sir Robert Mathers went on to build the Mathers name in Queensland to become an extremely well known and respected Company.

Tracey started her own career at the age of 14 when she went to work in the family company as a casual on weekends and late nights. She never lost her love of shoes and so her future was obvious to her.

Tracey opened her first retail store Tracey Mathers Shoe Studio in the Tattersall's Arcade Brisbane City in 1991. She has since opened another four Shoe Studio's in Queensland.

Tracey works closely with her Niece Brooke who is now a fourth-generation Mathers Shoe Retailer. Tracey and Brooke travel overseas yearly to bring a point of difference to the stores and are constantly trying to source exclusive brands with the wow factor.
